Driving in North Dakota comes with its own set of risks-icy highways on I-94, rural roads where deer crossings are common, and hailstorms that can leave vehicles badly damaged. At Bowerman Insurance Agency, we provide auto insurance in Steele, ND and Bismarck that keeps you protected on every trip. As an independent insurance agency, we shop multiple carriers to find the right balance of coverage and cost for your needs.

Motorhomes, Trailers, and Everything Between

We cover Class A, B, and C Motorhomes; travel trailers; fifth-wheels; pop-ups; truck campers; and toy haulers. If you keep your camper seasonal at a site or roam from park to park, we can tailor the coverage on how you use it.

Protection for the Rig and What's Inside

Auto coverage for driving, plus vacation or campsite liability when parked. Collision and comprehensive for damage, theft, hail, or animal strikes. Personal effects for items inside; appliances, clothing, and camping gear. Coverage for awnings, satellite dishes, and solar. Emergency expense and roadside assistance to keep you moving if plans go sideways.

Different Use, Different Coverage

RV Full Timers may need higher liability and residence-like protection. Part-time RV users might benefit from storage or lay-up options during winter. Bowerman Insurance Agency will align requirements if your RV is financed and keep coverage practical for the seasons.

Answers for RV Travelers

  • Do I need insurance for a camper I pull behind my vehicle?

Yes, the camper itself needs its own coverage for physical damage; your auto policy would handle liability as long as the camper is pulled by your vehicle, but once it’s un-hooked there is no coverage from your auto policy.

  • Does RV insurance cover belongings?

Policies include personal effects with set limits; we can increase them if needed.

  • What about roadside help?

Coverage is available with several carriers and highly recommended for all vehicles.
