Robert (Bob) Bowerman
Robert Bowerman started in the agency in February 1989. New to the Insurance business Bob started the new business venture with the help of Marlys White. Marlys had worked for the previous owner for many years and with her experience the agency started to grow. Bob started with property and casualty insurance business and few years later received his life and health license. Bob is the head of the crop insurance business now, which he knows quite well since he has farmed all his life and owned his own farm since 1977. Bob actually purchased his crop insurance through Art Kirschenmann, the former owner of the agency. Bob has been a member of the North Dakota Professional Insurance Association and has been currently serving on the board of directors on the NDPIA since 1999. Bob sees a great rewards in seeing our customers get the best coverage available towards protecting their financial interest in the time of need.

Bob and his wife LaDonna, live and farm approx. 30 miles NE of Steele.

LaDonna Bowerman
LaDonna started working in the agency in 1993. She became a fully licensed agent and works in all the areas of insurance, but focuses on farm, homeowners, and commercial. LaDonna is also the bookkeeper for all three agencies

LaDonna and Bob have a son who lives and works in Fargo and a daughter who lives and attends college in Jamestown. LaDonna and her husband, Bob live on a farm northeast of Steele.

Jonni Kramlich
Jonni joined our staff in May of 2000. New to the insurance business right out of college Jonni started as a part time staff person but within a few years became a fully licensed agent. She works with Bob in the crop insurance department but also helps with all the personal and commercial lines.

Jonni lives on a ranch in Tappen with her husband, Clint and their daughter, Elayna. Jonni enjoys photography, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Stephany Thorsness
Stephany started in the agency in October 2001 as a CSR. She became a license agent in the P & C business in September 2002. Stephany works with autos, homeowners and farmowners. Before coming to Bowerman Insurance she worked as a Business Manager for a school for many years

Stephany and her husband, Roger live on a small farm east of Tappen, ND. They have a married son and daughter and two grandsons. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Melissa Edwardson

Melissa started with the agency in October of 2005 as an agent. She became licensed in 2000 for P & C and for Life & Health in 2005. Melissa works with personal, commercial, and crop insurance. Before coming to Bowerman Insurance, Melissa and her family lived in Wishek and had worked with Raile Insurance Agency. Prior to living in Wishek, Melissa and her family lived in Steele, ND.

Melissa and her husband, Ryan recently moved to Steele with their 2 sons; Reed 7 and Cole 4 after 81/2 years in Wishek. Ryan works for BEK Communications and was transferred to Steele from Wishek. She grew up in the nearby town of Woodworth and enjoys helping out on the farm. Melissa also enjoys golf, hunting, sports, reading, quilting and spending time with her family.
